Taught 34 years in Robbinsdale; retired in 2000. Bought an RV and travel the backroads, poking hither/thither/yon. Sing in a community choir. Volunteer at a clinic in Mpls. kitty-corner to the new Guthrie Theater. Work with medical school students at the UofM. Bought a Honda motor scooter 9/19/09. Own two Bedlington terriers.
School Story:

I left PR after our sophmore year; graduated from Bloomington HS. Attended that reunion tonight; there were 197 people in attendance. I couldn't wait to get out of there! Spent $45 on the meal at a big hotel. Knew only a few people there; yuck! Looking forward to seeing people I grew up with and actually having a conversation or two! Even if you don't remember me, pretend you do and be nice to me, OK?

Although I moved from PR to Bloomington after my sophmore year, I remember Jim.  As I recall, he was primarily an unassuming, good person.  Reading about his service and the building that was re-named Ashby Hall in his honor certainly reinforces my memories of Jim.

Have a wonderful birthday Ginger.... I really enjoyed all your posting of your motorhome trip. Would love to been able to do that myself...but those days are gone now. A blessed birthday and many more down the road for you...
