I just returned from Detroit Lakes where I Officiated at my younger brother's memorial service (a first for me). My sister, Linda, and I sang the song sung at our mother's funeral, who died at age 39 in April 1966.
Craig was born in 1957, started school when we lived in St. Paul, and attended school in Park Rapids when we moved there in time for the 1967-1968 school year. He was 11 when I headed off to college in SW Missouri. My dad took a pastorate in Albert Lea within 2-3 years after I left for college, so Craig continued his education there. Craig became a Doctor of Optometry, was an amazing photographer (actually went to Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, CA, but eventually got a degree in biology and headed off to 4 years of Optometry school. Craig was also quite a guitarist and collected them as well. He tought youngsters to play on a borrowed guitar from him, and gave them the guitar when they were ready to leave his nest. Nonetheless, he had 32 guitars in the house when he died.
Craig was born and died in Detroit Lakes. I lived 8 years in Detroit Lakes, from 1955 to 1963; then St. Paul; then Park Rapids.
Craig died unexpectedly in his sleep on May 8. I only mention him because some of my classmates may have had younger siblings his age who might remember him.
Blessings to you all. Larry

Hey Bill. Saw and read your post. Hope all is well with you and yours. Minnetonka, that's the big money part of the Cities, isn't it?
Blessings.
