Make it a grand birthday! Happy we are still here to celebrate each year! Hope to see you at the reunion this summer.
Happy birthday! Amazing we have reached this age.. Make it a great celebration.
Pat, My sympathy to you and your family with Ben's passing on. Louise always valued your life long friendship since you lived on the neighboring farm when we were kids. May you find peace and comfort in the midst of the love of your family. Linda
Wonderful to hear from you. FYI Main Street is now about 5 blocks long and center parking extends 6 blocks. The merchants have beautified our PR with flowers everywhere ... almost in every nook in cranny. Your parents home and building were still there as of a year ago. I forgot to note this time. I recall the special crazy fun times I stayed with you.
It is quite remarkable the remaining members of our class of '57 still gather. Each day is a gift as you well know. Sending love, Linda

Sandy Walsh, Marie Jorgensen and I also were at his memorial. With the large number of people present it was apparent what an integral part Norm and Louise have been (and are) in their community. The message in the funeral bulletin: After Glow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like to leave an aftergow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering sofly down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days,
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave When Life is done.
Can't you hear Norm, in a moment of seriouosness, saying just this. Thanks Norm for one more smile.
I visited with Kay in transitional care a week before she departed. I recounted a number of old fun HS stories. She smiled remembering them. I told her she was a special friend. In a weak voice Kay said, "We were all special". So like Kay! Sadly and fondly remembered. Linda Kirchmaier

Congrats in recieving the good new regarding your eye surgery which you have worked so hard to attain. I get it. Life is bleak without a purpose and not being able to send your gifts out into the world. Being blocked from doing what you value and that which feeds your inner being is really, really tough!!!!!
You will be missed. Keep us posted. Linda
