Lezli Parks Zimmerman

Married to Dan, of Hickman, Nebraska, almost 35 years. Dan is a Grocery Manager of Hugo's, a smaller family owned/managed grocery business after being employed for 20+ years for J&B Foods locally owned by alumni Bob & Jeff Hensel.

Our daughter Ayrianne Alumni Class of 2003 Concordia College-Moorhead, MN 2005 Alumni BS Political Science & Spanish.
Ayrianne resides/works in Washington D.C for a lobby firm partly responsible for making funds available for the new Dialysis Center, the Armory rehab to an Arts Center & the expansion of the Nusing Home additions of Assisted & Independent senior living in her old hometown- Park Rapids. They work with New Market Tax funds assisting in low economic areas project funding. She married her long-time love John Wonderlich at the Nevis Fire Fly Event Center,owned by her college alumni, August 11,2018. They blessed us with our first Grandchild-Lyra 3/27/2020

I currently have worked 6 years, as of a few days ago-Dec 10, 2014 - present as a full time Life Enrichment Coordinator for a senior living campus & memory care in Walker, MN. It’s based out of Grand Forks across the Midwest U.S. primarily known as Edgewood Healthcare. They took over a year after I joined May Creek- our location is Edgewood May Creek.

I have volunteered for Living At Home a program to assist senior adults needs allowing them to continue to reside in their own homes
I also was a past mentor/volunteer of Kinship a youth mentorship program where I chaired their annual Fish Fry fundraiser for many years.

Many of you may remember me from when I had worked for the local area Chamber of Commerce for over 7 years & continued to value it's membership with
with my own past businesses. I was forced to retire those businesses after going back to work full time and new local competitors securing my facilities for my annual date.

I had also volunteered with the All School Reunion committee and assisted with our class of 81's 30 year class reunion as well as helped support the All Veteran's Memorial as a member of the Executive Committee assisting with their fundraising efforts.
