Susan Pachel [Erickson] Swanson

moved to GrandForks with husband Bob in 1974,and we moved to Bemidji 1975and lived until 1984,when Bob left,I became a single parent to two wonderful boys and their sister arrived that Nov. In 1987 I married Dan Moe and we drove the Foster Grandparent program van,It was a wonderful job full of wonder grandparents that help kids at schools who need extra help,wish I would have had one when I was in grade school. In 1989 Dan and I had a son,Danny. In 1996 another change,I sold the house in Bemidji and moved to Park Rapids with my old highschool sweetheart,Keith,we married in 1997 on our place with our horses, family and friends We have been raisen quarter horses,draft,and shetlands over the years and now have just a few riding horses and the miniature horses.I help Keith,with goats and cattle he uses for 4-H Western Heritage,a roping activity for 4-Hers,He is a insturctor for this and teaches goat tying along with roping and sorting of cattle.in the fall of 2008 I had breast cancer,and became a cancer survivor.One thing as always been there through my life,the foot prints in the sand,Thank you God, for carrying me through the hard times
