Comments:

I married Gary Rezac Andersen in 1963; we have 3 children. I attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks completing my undergraduate degrees in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Women Studies and graduate degrees in Communication and Social Psychology at UND. I worked for the University of North Dakota as Director of International Studies and Programs for the majority of my professional life and retired from the University of Minnesota. I taught two semesters after retiring at Bemidji State University. We live in Green Valley, AZ and visit Grand Forks, ND, Park Rapids, MN and Portland, Oregon summer months. Retirement free moments, I'm trying to master the game of golf, while enjoying reading, attending an educational book club, writing, teaching adult classes at the University of Arizona and celebrating spectacular moments with family and friends. My published books, "The Burden of Knowing" and "Baby Shoes" are available on line at Amazon.com. both in Kindle and printed book. Currently I am writing a memoir.

School Story:

Thinking of Park Rapids school days brings back many fond memories: Sipping cherry cokes at Schmiders after school and football/basketball games; the fun at Chateau Pauletts with class of 1960 friends; driving my chevy that had bad breaks; band and choir trips; pot lucks before and sleep (?) overs after games; and the amount of fabulous friends and teachers, especially Mrs. Murphy, who made school days memorable and taught us the value of reading classics and writing creatively.

I am grateful the class of 1960 each year celebrates days together in August, (Minnesota) and March, (Arizona). Memories flourish during these special moments as together we enjoy our aging years.
