I attended college at Gustavus and graduated in 1991. I worked in Grand Forks, ND as a programmer for a few years and then moved to Colorado in 1993. I was married for 12 years and have 3 great kids. I spent 11 years as a stay-at-home mother and I loved every second of it. During that time we were foster parents and had one long term baby for 8 months that we got as a 2 day old from the hospital. We had a few other children for short periods of time. I truly loved being a foster parent! I currently work for my local school district taking care of all the computers for the elementary schools. I also am a School Board Member for East Grand School District. I've been very active in my community, volunteering for a lot of boards and committees. I am now trying to balance being a single working mother and the challenges that come with that!
