I retired as an Architect on March 31, 2008 at 70 years of age after exactly 51 years in the architecture business. I started my career after finishing 17 months of an 18 month 'Drafting and Estimating' course (now 'Architectural Drafting and Design Technology') at 'Dunwoody Industrial Institute' (now 'Dunwoody College of Technology') in Minneapolis, MN. Yes I did start both my career employment (as an architectural draftsman and eventually as a Registered Architect) and my retirement on 'April Fools Day'!!
